35-44 year old female who had a traumatic amputation of the right ear from a dog bite. The patient was missing the top 1/3 of her ear and required complex and staged reconstruction of the right ear to restore the form. The patient underwent 2 surgeries to rebuild the ear by using her own rib cartilage and tissue from the scalp. The second surgery required us to improve the projection of the ear to match the other ear. Challenging case, but the patient is happy with the appearance of her ear and the fact that she can wear glasses now.
